Our vision

Learn French. Live France!

Pontlevoy village has been an important education hub since the mid-1040s.
Based on this long tradition, Pontlevoy SUMMER CAMP hosts young girls from 11 to 18, since Summer 2017.

In the heart of the Loire Valley, 2 hours from Paris, Pontlevoy Catholic High School is located in a peaceful village, away from the big cities of France. The school hosts girls from all over the world who wish to learn and improve their French language.

The summer camp is run by highly qualified teachers. The three week sessions are based on 21 hours/week for levels A1 and A2, 24 hours/week for levels B1, B2 and C1. Before coming, students take an on-line test and upon arrival are placed in their appropriate levels after individual interviews. Class groups are restricted to a maximum of 12 students.

The activities aim to promote group cohesion and discovery of the French cultural heritage. In addition to French language classes, students will discover French culture through field trips. The visits will include Unesco sites (Chambord, troglodyte village), neighbouring cities (Orleans, Blois), nearby highlights (Futuroscope, Beauval Zoo) and cultural tours (farm or factory visits). Students will explore the area through various outdoor activities (canoe, horseback ride) and masterclasses (baking and cooking lessons).
